Plastering Tunbridge Wells recently completed a porch. This was a nice job. After a new window and front door was fitted the porch neeeded Plastering and rendering on the outside.

A scratch coat of sand and cement render was applied first. When it was fully cured a top coat of smooth floated render was applied over the top ready for a painted Finish. Generally render is applied in two coats which helps to prevent cracks and keep the building more waterproof. The inside was plastered smooth ready for Decoration using Multi Finish plaster. The old plaster had become loose so needed replacing.
